I loved this story. The girl-who-gets-her-prince has been told many times, but Alice Gaines fills her tale with a cast of memorable secondary characters, and most importantly, two modern-day people in love who fight tradition for their right to love each other.
I couldn't put this book down! You are swept away to the enchanted kingdom of Danislova and fall in love with the royal family just as she does. You feel the love between her and Dev and fight for them the whole story. It's a story that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Love conquers all!
A modern fairy tale with a wonderful set of characters. I’ll be looking for the next book in the series.
I loved, loved, loved this book!!!! It was sweet and suspenseful and fun. The characters were well drawn, the setting fun and exciting, and the emotions and physical attraction between the main characters were sensual and gut-wrenching. I cried and cheered.
A well written story but a bit predictable. I loved the characters and hope to read about the rest of the royal family. Very interested in seeing how thing work out in the years ahead.
I would have preferred a plotline with the couple more centred around the university - I love the idea of a disguised student prince. Felice ending up in the Prince's country came just too darn fast. No editing mistakes that I could spot, dialogue flowed well. Not bad, not excellent. Pleasant reading.
I don't usually like royal novels but this one was different. It was such a surprising way to start a love story. The twists and turns kind of kept you guessing how it would end. Very goog!
